Stock Analysis APP
Client & Requirement
Client is a well-known financial consultancy firm. They wanted to create an app that serves as a dedicated equity research platform. The aim was to help users gain an advantage in global investing by simplifying complex data into an easily understandable visual workspace. The app needs to show real-time updates of stock market data from various global exchanges, such as ASX, Dow Jones, NASDAQ, Standard & Poor’s, and others.
Client built a global team of over 20 engineers, including developers and testers from the United States, China, and India. They were assigned with the tasks of front-end and back-end development, as well as quality assurance.
Shinetech has 2 developers undertake all the front end development and integration tasks, they work closely with other team members who are in different time zones and cultures to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Challenges
- Creating a reliable prediction system necessitates the development of comprehensive and precise data structures and data analysis. Furthermore, the system needs to prioritize security, stability, and professionalism, we put significant effort into achieving this alongside our clients.
- The app must sync with the stock exchange server in order to show real-time updates on the data trend chart, which presents significant difficulties with line graph drawing，including displaying data, synchronizing data, and handling backend tasks.
The solution
We implemented various technology strategies to maximize user experience, from user testing to analyzing user behaviors, and ultimately, we successfully designed a bespoke mobile app with an intuitive user interface.
The main technologies we used are:
- Protobuf for Data extraction and processing
- AWS with its advanced security features was the right choice for the financial tool development
- Cross-platform technologies, such as WPF and RN, React were used to quickly develop on multiple platforms
Result
After a year’s collaboration and efforts, Shinetech and its partners successfully handled numerous data tables and successfully delivered the product, resulting in positive feedback from the client.

Xiaoyue was a true project lead for the TDG app. He took the lead on many aspects of TDG development and created mission-driven solutions. He often accompanied the stakeholders to Track Day events across the UK to fully understand user behavior and expectations.
