Testing equipment across multiple factories
The client produces and distributes testing apparatuses and operates numerous factories. Its requirement concerned the equipment distributed across those manufacturing locations.
The existing devices could not be managed centrally through an online platform. This left the client without the shared online view it wanted for its factory equipment.
The challenge
Bring disconnected equipment into one online view
The client approached Shinetech to request a platform that would connect all of its devices to the cloud. The requirement was to bring equipment connectivity and device-status monitoring into a central platform.
Online and offline status was a specific part of the brief. The client wanted a convenient way to see whether devices were connected, rather than treating each factory’s equipment as an isolated group.
